About 2 years ago I painted a bangle bracelet similar to this and sold it at a local shop here in town.

So now I'm making a few in different designs (which I will post soon) to add to my jewelry collection.

Playing with Watercolors and my Art Journal.

Just playing with my watercolors.

For the last few months I've been trying to work on a page a day in my art journal or a watercolor.  So this is what I have accomplished in the past 7 days.

I found the above idea on Face Book, but I felt it needed a little bump up.

So after some digging around in my stash of odds and ends  I decorated my own  hanger with flowers.

This is a painting that I just wanted to see how the colors would look together.  An experiment.  Now I think I will paint over it and use the canvas for another project.  Nothing is ever really lost now a days it can be recycled and made new again or recycled into something altered and redesigned .  So here I save the picture of my original painting and now have another canvas to work with.

Now off to the beach!

Well today is just another day to learn how to use this blog.

I'm a novice at this and unfortunately I do not have a 10 year old to help me.   I'm told that makes life a lot easier for us
folks that grew up with only a dial phone and 7 channels on the TV to watch .

I guess that is why its so much fun to create with paper, paint and glue.   Well off to check the  Home Made pea soup.

Here is another picture of some of my works.  These are poly clay embellishments for wood gift box's.  Enjoy!

How I did my contest entry!

This little test of my so called talent and imagination was fun to do.   I really can't discribe the steps but I used the following items.

A stretched canvas 6x9  covered with a scrap of decorative scrapbook paper.  Painted with
acrylic paint. Distressed with sand paper.  Then I just kept layering on the pictures.  I duplicated the image several times and just kept adding beads, shells, trim, and lace.  I'm new at this and the process is what comes to me at the very moment I sit down at my work desk.
